FREE Workshop - IBM Cloud Private - DC

Dec 8,2017 - Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
******************** Scroll Down to complete the registration form ***** About the Event: What if you could empower your business to deliver competitive, innovative and elastic apps and integrate them with your existing applications, data and processes? What if you could enable your administrators to exploit and manage the dynamics of cloud while still addressing compliance and regulatory requirements? And what if you could do all of this while maintaining the flexibility and freedom to exploit services from multiple cloud providers? This is a very broad set of needs, but it reflects the challenges that enterprises face when it comes to delivering transformations to address disruption. IBM Cloud private is a new way to deliver and run your elastic workloads in your own trusted data centers. It is a reliable and scalable cloud platform that runs on your infrastructure. It’s built on open-source frameworks, like containers, Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry, with common services for self-service deployment, monitoring, logging and security, as well as a portfolio of middleware, data and analytics. With IBM Cloud Private, development and administrative teams share a flexible cloud environment behind their firewalls to create new microservices-based applications, modernize existing apps using cloud-enabled middleware and securely integrate between the two. IBM Cloud Private complements the IBM Cloud by providing consistent runtimes, services and management capabilities to minimize the friction in transition to a public cloud. Parking: There are several parking garages in the area. Most of them charge around $21.00 per day and require cash as a method of payment. The garage on F street between 14th and 15th accepts credit cards. Metro: Metro Center is the closest metro station from the location (about 2 blocks away, walking distance). Attire: Casual Cost: This workshop is offered free of charge. Participants are responsible for their own business travel expenses, including parking, breakfast and lunch.
