Here's the final agenda and logistics

8:30 am – Doors Open, Registration

9 am to 10 am: Instance Modeling with DoDAF 2
Speaker: Chuck Faris, Senior Enterprise Architect IoT-Unleash the Labs

10 am to 10:45 am: “Publishing on a Shoestring”
Speaker: Kyle Kenney, Senior Enterprise Architect Consultant, Bay State
Summary:  Are you a one person EA show?  Don’t have the expertise, time, or authority to set-up/configure web servers?  Is System Architect isolated by security boundaries?  Can’t get the senior leadership to solve the information propagation problem?  If you have System Architect and SharePoint (or something similar), you can still push the data to users.  This is a technically uninspiring, but very doable approach to getting the data out there – with lots of room for simple-tech improvements for the more technically inclined and practical.

10:45 am to 11 am -- Break

11:00 am to 11:30 am: Architecting for the Cloud – Tales from the Dark Side
Speaker: Mike Clark, IBM
Summary: Considerations when moving current-state applications and application development processes into a cloud future state.

11:30 am to 12 noon: Use Case Example Utilizing the Business Motivation Model for Business Unit Planning
Speaker: John Jessup, Senior Enterprise Architect Consultant
Summary: In addition to a review of the Business Motivation Model (BMM) out-of-the-box artifacts, the use of a "Business Technology Plan" definition will introduced.  An example of reporting on a Business Unit's "Business Technology Plan" using the System Architect Publisher and a refreshable Explorer Diagram will be demonstrated.

1:00 to 2:00 pm: Application Portfolio and IT Service Management
