Generating Repository Based Enterprise Life Cycle Documentation at the IRS using Rational System Architect

Join us at the IBM Rational System Architect Users Group on November 14, 2014 to hear about the topic "Generating Repository Based Enterprise Life Cycle Documentation at the IRS using Rational System Architect.

This presentation discusses and demonstrates a macro based document that pulls information from a Rational System Architect repository thus decreasing the time required to develop the a required life cycle document (a Business System Report) and producing a more accurate model based specification. The Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) is a framework used by IRS projects to ensure consistency and compliance with government and industry best practices. One of the milestone ELC documents is the Business System Report (BSR). The purpose of the BSR is to confirm, clarify and document initial system scope, vision, system architecture concept and release roadmap for the project as a whole, and to define the release plan for the current release. A repository based document provides an option for projects at the IRS to develop a more consistent, accurate, and reusable project deliverable.
